CfD on BBC Points West

Posted on

Our work to deliver deaf awareness sessions to healthcare students at Bristol UWE has featured on BBC Points West.

These students will go on to be work as professionals in the health sector as paramedics, GPs, midwives and so on. and other professionals in the health sector. The hope is that the students take what they have learned from these sessions into the workplace so that they are better informed when working with deaf and hard of hearing people.

These are small steps CfD is doing to improve the experiences of deaf and hard of hearing people accessing healthcare in the future.

Two exceptionally pleasant and helpful people – a pleasure to meet and my new doorbell is a great help. Thank you very much.
