An afternoon of connection, advice, and practical support
“One in three adults in the UK are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus.”
— Royal National Institute for Deaf People (RNID), 2025
At the Centre for Deaf and Hard of Hearing People (CfD), we believe that hearing loss should never mean isolation. Our mission is to create fair access, improve quality of life, and ensure that everyone affected by hearing loss can stay connected to the people and communities that matter most.
That’s why we’re hosting Living with Hearing Loss — a welcoming community event offering practical advice, emotional support, and opportunities to connect with others on a similar journey.
Whether you’ve just started noticing changes in your hearing or have been living with hearing loss for some time, this event will help you discover useful strategies, local support, and new ways to communicate with confidence.
