We’re delighted to be supporting the launch of a new social group for Deaf and Hard of Hearing people in Bristol. The Deaf Night Out group will meet for the first time on 9 May.
Deaf Night Out is a chance for anyone affected by hearing loss to get together for a night on the town. The group will plan together what events they want to go to; it could a trip to the theatre or cinema, a concert, a meal out or other activities like ten pin bowling!
To celebrate Deaf Awareness Week, the first night out is planned for Thursday 9 May. The group will meet at 8pm at the Drawbridge Pub, 14 St Augustine’s Parade, Bristol BS1 4UT.
Open to all Deaf and Hard of Hearing people, BSL learners, interpreters, families and friends.
The group’s organisers are hoping this will become a regular gathering and allow people with hearing loss to participate more in all the wonderful nightlife that Bristol has to offer.
Come along, bring your friends and make some new ones!
We’ll look forward to seeing you there!
