Our trained Equipment Officers visit your home. They'll chat with you, understand your needs, and recommend the best equipment for your home.
We install the equipment for you. You can use it for free, for as long as you need.
If there's a problem later, we help with repairs, advice, or replacements.
If you live in Bristol, most equipment is completely free — funded by Bristol City Council.
If you live outside Bristol, don't worry — you can buy equipment from us, or we can signpost you to your local service.
We can refer you to Avon Fire Service — they offer free home visits, give safety advice, and install the right fire equipment to keep you safe.
Know someone who could benefit? We can send you leaflets. We're happy to give free talks and live demonstrations at community groups, centres, or events.

We have a resource room where we provide information, demonstrations and advice on equipment for Deaf and hard of hearing people.
If you would like to make an appointment to visit our resource room, please contact us and we will arrange for one of our Equipment Officers to meet you and show you the range of equipment that we have.
